Founded in 1917, Leuchtturm has accumulated over 100 years of experience in the production of high-quality stationery. The Muted Colors edition, the most recently announced series in their lineup when Vol.1 was released, comes in the classic medium (A5) size dot grid design. As you may know, Platinum is a very notable Japanese pen company that has been in business since 1919. One of their many fine writing instruments includes the Preppy Fountain Pen. This pen alone has sold more than 10 million units worldwide since they were released in 2007 as an entry-level fountain pen. Even though it may not be as expensive as many other fountain pens, it can still perform exceptionally well showing that low cost does not mean low quality. It also includes a Slip & Seal mechanism that helps prevent ink from drying even if it’s not used for an extended period of time.
