About Heath Newsstand

What began as small-scale pottery in 1948, with Edith & Brian Heath, has evolved into a pure and simple way of life and business that shares one creative heart and many forms of expression. Heath is an American maker of goods for your home — led by husband and wife, Robin & Cathy — who are shaping the relationship we have to the things we own, and the way we come to own them.

Heath Newsstand is a tiny outpost within Heath's San Francisco Mission District building, where visitors find a dazzling array of international publications and creatively curated gifts, home goods, snacks, and flowers. Like the globetrotting little sister of the Heath Ceramics showroom, the Newsstand presents surprising, playful, and cutting-edge finds from around the world, and lives in dynamic companionship with the iconic, classic design venue next door.

Expanding on some of the books we already carry in our showrooms, we feature a variety of publications, a wide assortment of note cards for every occasion, wellness products, and beautiful flower bouquets from La Fleuriste. Like any good newsstand, we offer refreshments and snacks. The Newsstand has something for everyone.

We are a welcoming neighborhood hub, where we celebrate culture from far-off lands and different perspectives from our own.
